in italian, to say "i miss you," you would say "mi manchi." the literal translation, however is "you are missed by me." it holds so much more significance when said that way, at least to my ears. the one who is missed becomes the center of the thought and statement, rather than the one who misses. anyway, just wanted to say that rome, you will be missed by me.
